- Click the link below to get the Despair Factor kernel for your Nexus 5 or Nexus 6.

After downloading the files you need for root, add the SuperSU and the Despair Factor kernel to your Nexus. You can connect your phone to your computer to facilitate the process, by dragging and dropping the files into the download folder.
Rooter Android M with TWRP
As soon as your computer has located the TWPR.img file downloaded from Team Win,
- Right-click and select open a command window.
- You will then go to another MS-Dos window with a bar that flashes.
- On the bar, add Quick flash boot recovery TWRP.img.
- After a few minutes, you should see a message saying “Complete “
- Now you can start rooting.

The next step is to start your phone in recovery mode. To do this, press the volume button and the on/off button simultaneously. Once you have finished backing up, you can now install the custom kernel on your Nexus. To do this,
- Press the large Install button and choose the file where you want to store the Kernel Despair Factor kernel.
- It will then be placed in your Downloads folder.
- To continue, choose the kernel, and make sure it’s the component you want to use and complete the installation.
After kernel, also install the SuperSU. Press the Install button and locate the location of your SuperSU download file. It should be in the same location as the core of Despair Factor. Locate it, then confirm and wait for the installation. When the installation is finished, restart your phone.
With these manipulations, your phone now works with Android M, equipped with SuperSU and root access.
