Coffee Grounds Rub Recipe

Ingredients:
- Coffee grounds ( they are from brewed coffee) – 2 tablespoons
- 2 Stripe Steak (also called as New York stripe steak, Kansas City strip steak, sirloin steak, porterhouse). It is a loin portion of a cow, actually a beef stick cut from loin of a cow.
- black peppercorns – 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil- 1 tablespoon
- Kosher salt
Time: 20 minutes
Preparation:
In a spice grinder, grind coffee grounds with peppercorns into coarse. But before this be sure, that brewed coffee grounds are dry enough. You can dry it in a oven on the off chance it is still soggy. Just spread the coffee grounds on a preparing sheet and place that in a oven in a 350 degree F. It may take 7-10 minutes to dry. Now set it out and cool them.
Take the two stripe steaks and paper towel and patch the steaks with paper towel to dry them. Spatter kosher salt generously on the steaks. Then spread the rub (coffee grounds and peppercorns) and grease the rub well as well as press them into the stick so that it very well sticks the steak.
Use cast-iron skillet and heat it over a medium high. When the pan is hot, pour a little vegetable oil and start cooking the steak about 4 minutes or more until you see it is cooked well. Cut it into pieces and serve this delicious item!
Barbecue coffee-Rubbed Ribs Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 5-7 pounds beef ribs ( 2 racks beef ribs)

- Paprika- 2 tablespoon
- Brown sugar- 1 tablespoon
- Ancho Chile powder- 1 tablespoon
- Kosher salt- 2 tablespoon
- Garlic powder- 1 teaspoon
- Oregano- 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder- 1 teaspoon
- Cocoa powder- ½ teaspoon
- Coriander- ½ teaspoon
- Black pepper(ground)- 1 teaspoon
Preparation:
Take a small bowl and add Coffee, Chile powder, salt, paprika, dark brown sugar, black pepper, coriander, oregano, cocoa powder, garlic powder and onion powder and mix them well for preparing the rub.
Clean the ribs removing the membrane on the back and now cut the beef ribs. Take the rub we prepared before and rub the each ribs with this rub generously. After that put them in a container and store it in the refrigerator if you wish you can keep it the whole night.
Set up the barbecue smoker and in the meantime take that ribs out of the fridge. Start up the smoker to 225°F and include a couple of pieces of smoking wood lumps when at temperature. When the wood is creating smoke, put the ribs in the smoker and meat side up as well as smoke until the ribs have a slight twist when lifted from one end. It will be around 5-6 hours. If you prefer sauce, apply the sauce with the rush. Continue the cooking until when you see the sauce has caramelized. It may take your time around 15-20 minutes. Now take aside from the barbecue smoker. Cut them into pieces and enjoy!
